Family:
Chuck and his wife Katie have 4 grown children and 1 grandchild. Katie
is the Chair of the Washington County Commission on Children and
Families, president of the Oregon Public Health Association and teaches
public health courses at the Oregon Health and Sciences University.
Chuck has
lived in Washington County since 1979.
Employment
History: Chuck ran his father's farm from age 9 until college. In
the U. S. Air Force, Chuck co-designed the interior of Air Force One and
updated Russian maps for Strategic Air Command using U2 spy plane
photos. He also was a code breaker for the U.S. Air Force.
Chuck
ran his own company, Chuck Riley Computer Consulting. As a
small business owner/consultant, Chuck helped businesses and non profit
organizations, large and small, run effectively and efficiently.
Chuck has
also had many work experiences including: Jet Propulsion Laboratory
(programmed payroll and personnel systems); Santa Barbara County
(registrar of voters database, and superior court case systems); Blue
Cross of Oregon; and First
Interstate Bank-Oregon.
Hobbies:
Fly fishing; genealogy; making jewelry; camping; woodworking.
