Hello. I’m Chuck Riley, and it’s my privilege to be your State Senator for District 15 in Hillsboro, Forest Grove, Cornelius and North Plains.

I’m running to get our priorities straight. This means more funding to schools instead of funding tax breaks for corporations, expanding access to job training programs that help Oregonians get family-wage jobs, and fighting for small businesses that make up the backbone of Washington County.

As a former State Representative, I know what it takes to fight for our values down in Salem. For six years, I fought for the people of House District 29 by supporting legislation that improved our schools, our jobs and our community as a whole.

As your State Senator, I pushed my colleagues to close the “boyfriend loophole,” which previously allowed dangerous convicted domestic abusers to continue purchasing firearms. I worked on legislation to reign in predatory towing companies, who disproportionately target and harm low-income Oregonians. I championed expansion of after-school and summer kids programs in Oregon. Additionally, we passed the landmark Reproductive Health Equity Act, which will ensure comprehensive reproductive health care for all women in Oregon.

I have always said that one of my favorite parts of being on the campaign and serving the people of Washington County are the friends, supporters and neighbors I’ve met along the way. I would like to hear more about the issues that you care about, so we can expand on the work we have done over the past four years and find new solutions over the next four years. Feel free to send me an email at chuck@chuckriley.org or give me a call at (503) 936-5791.

As your State Senator, I promise to keep being a champion for the issues that matter. For updates on the campaign, please visit my Facebook page and sign up for my newsletter.

I look forward to your support in making schools and the Washington County community our top priority.

Sincerely,
Chuck Riley
